Whether you’re just here for a one off visit or looking to join the church on a permanent basis, we hope that you feel warmly welcomed and know that you are amongst friends at Jersey Baptist Church. Coming along to a church for the first time (particularly if you’re not used to it) can be a little daunting but we hope that you feel right at home among us.

Each Sunday we have a team of people to welcome you at the door and a designated area where you can get information on the church and all that goes on during the week.

We also hope to encourage you in your understanding of the Christian faith whatever stage you’re at and we desire that people get to know Christ as the Bible is taught through challenging and thought-provoking sermons.

During our service there will be times to pray, sing and listen to God from the Bible. Our services usually last for just over an hour. All our team are on deck on any given Sunday and you can ask them anything you like about the church or Christianity in general.

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.
